Butterflies are profound insects. They are born creatures of caterpillars whose destiny is determined for them before they could even imagine metamorphosing into a beautiful specimen. A caterpillar is already purposed to be a butterfly. Caterpillars don’t have to worry or work at being a butterfly I don’t even think they have to really think about it, it is just something they are destined to do whether they want to or not.
See, being a butterfly is the destiny of the caterpillar. Caterpillars don’t compare themselves to other caterpillars; they aren’t ashamed of still being a caterpillar or how long it is taking to become a butterfly, they can’t buy their destiny…it will just happen when it’s time. As women, this is how God has created each of us. We don’t need to measure ourselves to the next woman, or be ashamed of where we currently are today.
If we could just be confident as God has innately instructed the caterpillar to embrace our destiny knowing we are going to be that butterfly no matter what our journey is and how we get there but just believe it will happen, we will have fulfilled our purpose that he has for us. Resemble the butterfly while in your cocoon state, rest, rejuvenate, replenish and release…take the time afforded you to prepare for your butterfly stage.
Be confident that it will happen, take hold of it and claim it, it has already happened, it is your destiny and there is nothing that you did to achieve it or nothing that you can do to stop it. This is what God has purposed the caterpillar to do and to be. Live your life “on purpose”
