It took God only seven days. as a matter of fact six days and on the seventh he rested…We have to know that if God our Supreme being could rest that rest is essential. Think about the rest of God how much peace must be there. I know God didn’t rest because he was tired (lol)…he rested and paused in time, remember God is time he is not engulfed in time, time is engulfed in God…but he rested to show us time out for self. A time to step back and reflect, a time for vacationing, a time to look over our creations and say it is good. By doing this God created a Sabbath.
We have to create our our sanctuaries and Sabbaths. Look, this has nothing to do with a brick and mortar facility, however if that is where you find peace then go there but we can create our our Sabbaths within our self even in our own homes. I for one love water especially when the water has movement such as a pond with a rushing waterfall, the crashing of ocean waves and often a mere faucet with a drip drop plop sound. I have created my sanctuary near a small in ground pond with soft evening lighting.
Our sanctuary may be different but wherever you can show up and meet your inner truth and spirit is where you can find God. Begin your creation by planning a small area of your home or office where you can enjoy a time out to reflect over creativity. Those of us that are gifted in the arena of the arts, writers, musicians, painters etc. are creators and creators need places to create.
